Just Can't Get Enough

Hey guys! Long time no blogging, lol. Life just really picked up for me lately and the time literally flew this past month! And I wanted to upload more pics for this outfit post, but blogger is telling me I need to buy more space for photos! :( I didn't know I would "run out of space". Hmm well I'm going to have to figure it out.

This shredded olive tee from Forever21 is incredible. I saw it online and have been craving it, lucky enough for me, I found it today in the store! So I snagged it up without a second thought.

This past weekend I had an amazing ski trip with some family, and planned to upload some cool pics for you guys to see but...apparently I can't, yet. Bear with me, stay tuned for my next post!

Wow, what I've lacked in posts this past month or so has definitely been made up for through all these pictures! I hope you didn't get too bored, and if you've made it all the way down to this text, then good for you! You are a true follower;)

I just couldn't resist today, I mean my photographer today (Bri) really outdid herself! So thank you wonderful photographer, :p

So, about the outfit: I haven't had a post with these shoes and jacket yet, which is weird because I abolutely LOVE them. The aviator trend definitely caught my attention this season, and I found this beauty at Forever 21. Same with the shoes, they're from Forever 21 and I was incredibly lucky due to the fact that they were exactly my size and the last pair!

Also, after seeing all the pictures floating around of women in fashion wearing amazing claw bangles, I had to buy this gold claw one as soon as I saw it online.

Back in Time

I am SO sorry for taking such long breaks from posting; I have zero time lately for photo shoots or blogging of any sort! Between work and school, family and friends, (and SLEEP lol), blogging has just seemed to take the back burner in my life lately, so to speak. But I feel a bit guilty, and I promise to try harder!

So for today's post, instead of a recent outfit of mine, I'm posting an outfit from maybe 2 months ago, back when my aunt and I went to a really nice park to take tons of pics, remember? And somehow, I forgot this one. It is nothing too fancy, but I like how the shots came out and these are my favorite pants, as well as one of my favorite tops. So I think this is something I would definitely wear again:)

That Coat..

Sometimes I feel a bit inseparable from this coat (not to mention the shoes too). I can see myself wearing it for a long time to come.

So, I found this leopard ring at ASOS, couldn't believe how cool it looked, and was even better when I finally got it in person! I also got a bracelet with the ring that I'll have to show you.

So classes started again on Monday for me, not very fun. :/ I only have 5 more months to go, though, and then graduation. High school is way too long!!

I'd prefer to just be in fashion already, :)

How did you celebrate your New Year's Eve/Day? Mine was quiet; spent some time with a friend and that was about it. I've been working ever since last Wednesday, and today is the first day I finally have off (hence the lack of post for a few days), so I've just been constantly tired from work. Paycheck better be good this week!

Goodbye Forever 2010

I thought that since this is a very special time of year(the FINALE, that is!), I would make this a special post as well, featuring my main looks of this year ever since I really got into blogging this summer. I know I am not the best blogger ever, but I know that just within the past few months I have improved so much, mainly due to my ever growing and maturing stlye, as well as getting an appropriate camera for the best quality pictures. This year has really been the year for my love of fashion to arise..I've always known that I love clothes, but now it's so much more than that. I realize it's a big part of who I am as a person and want to live my life surrounded by fashion, including having a career in Paris(where my heart truly belongs, it is without a doubt the one and only city I want to live in) in the fashion world, where I will finally be able to speak my favorite language in the whole world every single day, French.

This past year has also been emotional for me as I was going on 2 years of having extreme back pain, and finally got the surgery I needed to correct it on September 16.

I started my senior year in high school, got a promotion at work, saw my brother for the first time in two years, my shoe collection grew significantly, started this blog, and have overall discovered so much more about myself and who I really am.

All in all, I think what's happened this year is I've really begun to grow up; 2011 holds a lot for me, and I know I need to be prepared:

I'll be graduating high school in May, turning 18 in August, moving to Paris shortly after my birthday, and from there my life and fashion will improve more and more and more....

So are you ready guys?? Get ready for an extremely exciting and new life for me, and I will do my best to take you along with me through iSpyFashionDiary. This means more fashion, better pictures, graduation, PARIS, and anything else that life decides to bring!

Expensive Cravings

Just a quick post for you guys to see some (important word here...some)of the things I'm craving for sooo badly right now: pictures one (the nude colored twist-lock bag) and three (the knee-length camel skirt) are both sold out though (from asos.com), and there's no way I could afford these incredible metallic FINSK wedges or Sam Edelman "Zoyla" boots at the moment....one can dream...

Here I am, it's 12 in the afternoon and all the presents are unwrapped; my family was all here at my house, and there were a lot of laughs and funny pictures. Some of the things I got are my new and wonderful Sam Edelman boots(obviously!)!!! They are perfect and fit perfect and I couldn't be happier with them. Thanks to Mom and Dad! ;) My gramma also got me this posh purple laptop case, which I definitely needed(and could have used on my trip to Ohio the other week)!

Of course I got other gifts from my family, but for now I thought I would just leave you with this, as well as pictures of my outfit for the day. I found this red blazer in Ohio for $22, otherwise worth $145, and I have been craving a red blazer (preferably with GOLD buttons!) for the longest time. I couldn't believe this great blazer practically fell into my lap! Thank you to all who read and visit my blog; I hope you're day has been amazing so far. Now I realize a few of these items pictured have never yet been feautured on the blog, but don't worry I'm sure to get around to it soon enough;) And basically every time I see any item like these(leopard, sheer, metallic, jacket with gold buttons..) in the stores, I'm immediately attracted to it..so, in other words, obsessed!

So, I need your help guys: I feel I should work harder on growing my audience. If you are not yet following and/or commenting, don't be shy! Cleveland: What I Wore

So this was my Saturday in Cleveland, Ohio with my family. It was so much fun and we got to visit the Rock 'N Roll Hall of Fame(pictured above), which really was so amazing. I saw things such as Michael Jackson's famous glove and Thriller outfits, Elvis Presley's handwritten lyrics, his stage outfits, guitars, and so much more. I love rock 'n roll of various kinds, and have always wanted to know more about it's history. This was a great way for me to learn about it in so many different aspects.

But, I am home now of course, and I must say that I miss traveling already. Flying is so much fun in my opinion. If I could have it my way in some fantasy world, I'd saying flying somewhere knew every 1-2 months would be so perfect. But there's nothing wrong with dreaming, right? :)

Snowy Days in Ohio

OUTFIT POST: Golden Days

This to me is such a fun outfit because of all the gold accents that coordinate so well, such as the gold in my skirt, my coat's buttons, my knit sweater(it has gold thread), gold earrings, and goldish/brownish leopard shoes.

And, just like how my previous post showed me wearing "new shoes and a new coat", I'm also wearing another set of new shoes and another new coat :D I've been trying to build up my coat collection, mainly because winter is coming, but also because I'm leaving to Ohio on Thursday for a few days with some family for the funeral of my Great Grandma. And it won't be all bad, because I'll get to see the house where my dad and uncles grew up and ice skate outdoors at a pond(I loooove ice skating..so I'm kinda excited since we don't have a rink here in Tucson). Plus, I really really love to travel, even it it's just inside the States. Not to mention airplane rides, they're just fun to me all by themselves, where ever I'm going.

Well I hope everyone's staying warm, I know I am..mainly because it was 80 degrees out to day, pretty warm, huh?

Look Du Jour: Leopard Coat + Olive Shoes

Say hello to my newest and warmest coat, new shoes(which are now the tallest pair I own at 5.5 inches), and sunnies: all from Forever 21. So, of course, what did I do? Combine them all in one outfit for my excitement of each and every one of them.:) I've since worn the coat and shoes to death (okay not really..but these were taken about a week ago :p ). Well point is..I love them! The coat is really practical though, it is seriously like a heater inside it! Just what I needed for the past week as temps dropped to below freezing...and believe me, I was still freeeeezing!! Haha but that's what I do love about this time of year, Christmas isn't the same if it's not cold!

Day at the Park: Part 4

Here is the second to last post from my day in the park, I wanted to try out this old pencil skirt I found that I havent worn for a long time.

So I wanted to thank you guys for all the kind comments and new followers, it means a lot to me, :) And, I aslo wanted to point something out that was extremely excitng to me: Andy Torres, from StyleScrapbook, my all time favorite fashion blogger, left me a comment on my blog on Friday!!! (On the last "day in the park" post) I was SOOO beyond happy to see her write me on my blog...meant the world to me. It was her early xmas gift to me in my eyes:)

Well anyway, I just wanted to share that with you. The weather here is actually getting rather cold! It's about time I think. Apparently the high for Monday and Tuesday is supposed to only be in the low 50's! Amazing:D

Black Friday Finds/New Fashionology

Here are some pics for you guys to show what I found today at H&M and Forever 21. As you can tell I actually didn't buy much at all, partially because H&M was a big let-down for me: they didn't have the Lanvin for HM line!! What's up with that?? Are any of you guys experiencing the same thing where you live? I'm assuming that it is select stores only then that carry the designer line. I am extremely disappointed...to say the very least. Yet another reason for a fashion-lover like me to despise this dump city called Tucson...I cannot believe I was born here. I don't belong here at all!!

Don't worry though, soon my beloved Paris and I will be reunited...<3

At least I got to spend some time with Mom, though, and we got ourselves some Starbucks which makes any day better.

Day at The Park: Part 3

So I've decided that I'm officially excited for Black Friday, despite the fact that I do have to work that day as well(1:30 to 7:30, so at least it's not a morning shift I guess). I could really care less about Thanksgiving to be honest..I mean, shouldn't people be showing their gratitude through giving away food, rather than stuffing more down their throats than usual? I already have so much, I don't need to celebrate it by getting even more. Because that isn't gratitude. Gratitude is showing a better side of yourself to others who need it, to those who actually need a meal on Thanksgiving night, which really is just another day. But, sadly, my opinion is petty compared to the big tradition of Thanksgiving..and people will continue to "celebrate" what they have by whipping up an elaborate meal they don't need. I prefer to be grateful all year long..and I see my family all the time aside from a dinner gathering every 4th Thursday of November. Thanksgiving is just another way for the meat industry to proffer through the killings of God knows how many robotic, helpless, factory farmed turkeys, and to give the country a few days off of course, well, that is, unless you work at a groccery store. Like me. But hey, like I said, I really don't mind..because Black Friday is what I'm really excited about. :)

Are you guys planning on grabbing some Lanvin from H&M?? I know I am; hopefully I get my hands on some good deals or something.

But, as I stated in my previous text, this is Outfit No. 1 of my day at the park with my Aunt Gigi(gypsygdesigns.blogspot.com) the other day. Having a photographer is seriously a nice break, and it is a lot more fun, let me tell you. And she did an amazing job, didn't she?! I can't wait to go back to the park with her sometime. I wish my pictures here on the blog could be consistently more like this, to make it better for you guys:)

I'm 5'3, and hey, look at me! I'm wearing a maxi. I've also styled my maxi dress a couple of times. Don't be fooled into thinking that just because you're anything less than 5'8 that you can't enjoy the maxi trend like all the tall women! Besides, they are unbelievably versatile, fun, and yes, comfortable. I'm actually really sad right now that this is the only long skirt I have. I find long skirts to be flattering on many if not all body types, actually. They create a nice, straight line on your body, and, if styled properly, can make you look leaner. My tips to get the most out of your skirt would be to probably wear heels, especially if you're so short it's dragging on the ground in flats, because this just emphasizes the illusion of length even more. Also, make sure you can have it a little high up on your waist(we all know high-waisted is not only stylish but extremely flattering!). And, don't forget the confidence; have fun in what you're wearing. :)

So, what are you waiting for?! Go parade around in your maxi asap! Who says you can't? Trust me, it's easier to wear than you may think;D

Thanks to the amazing online Dutch site, Fashionology.nl, I have this simple yet chic long cross necklace. Mind you, I find it a fashion statement..religion is totally irrelevant when it comes to my wearing crosses. I just think it looks cool;)

So, if you couldn't tell...I had wayyyy too much fun taking pictures today..but hey, why not, right? ;) It's always nice for pictures to turn out well, so I take advantage of that. This is actually what I wore the other day for school, but didn't have a chance to photograph it that day. It was too warm to wear an outfit like this today! Can you believe that? Too warm? I guess I shouldn't complain..some would love to have warm weather I suppose. But let me tell you this: if it's still not cold by December, I will complain every single day!

This blouse is pretty awesome in my opinion: "batwing" style, sheer, button-up, and PURPLE(I'm a sucker for purple). So yeah..needless to say, this blouse was happily welcomed into my closet.

Don't Break My Heart...and I Won't Break Your Heart-shaped Glasses

Don't be fooled by this fall-wear, it's still not cold enough outside to actually wear a scarf, boots, etc.! haha, so yeah basically I was playing dress-up. But that's for good reason: the camel scarf and trousers are brand new, so of course I had to photograph them asap, right!? I was too excited to find these pants, I've been wanting a pair of trousers like these for a while and they're pretty unique: the materical feels almost like suede..but isn't? Haha it's pretty amazing. And this "leatherette" biker jacket is also really new. I was wanting it for the longest time(after going to the store 3 times, I finally was able to buy it) and voila, it is one of my newest babies:) It not only has some stud detailing, but built in shoulder pads as well..can it get any better than that?? I think not.

It's about time I show my one and only trench coat on the blog! It's one of my favorite pieces in my wardrobe, although, unfortunately, it's rare that I can even wear it for now due to this Arizonan weather. But, soon enough, I'll be able to wear it as often as I like for a while, :)

Oh, and the best part about this coat? I found it in the sales rack - for 10 bucks. :D

Next time I feature my leopard trench here on the blog I hope to have some better pictures(the lighting and focus was kind of "out of wack" now that I look at them:/ But hey, I tried! :) ).

By the way, these are the new gray pants I've mentioned before; I've been wanting to get my hands on them for a while now, and I finally did!

Something I Can Never Have

Happy (late) Halloween!! I hope that where ever you are, you had a fun night. I myself enjoyed some good company with friends and family, and on Halloween Eve I watched the good old Halloween classic Beetlejuice :) Hocus Pocus is another good classic which I watched this year.

So anyway, that's that and here is an outfit I took pictures of about 2 weeks ago for the blog but haven't gotten around to posting it until now. I never ever ever wear this skirt, but I figured I should try styling it in a way that made me like it more, so instead of a really girly shirt to pair with it, I just put on some classic black and white stripes (I try not to let my outfits look too insanely girly or frilly), so I kind of liked the result...what about you guys? :)

All That Glitters

Hey guys!

Well I wish it was easier to tell, but my new knit jumper from Forver21 sparkles! It's really a nice touch to the cream color of it, I just feel so luxurious wearing it, :) I also got some really cool pants, so stay tuned to see what they look like! They're gray and black, and I've been overly obsessed with all things gray latley.

Now in other news, I know I just changed my blog banner again, and in all honesty I'm still not too happy with it. Truth is, I'm clueless as how to make an awesome banner....anyone have any tips or help? Anyone?

I haven't been updating so much lately, but that's partly due to this past week having been my first week back to work(I was out for over a month!). I'm being trained to work in Starbucks! Haha that's one of my favorite places to be. I have a lot to learn though.

So, Halloween is a week away...what are you guys planning to do? I'm trying to decide what I want to do.

And then there's Black Friday in a month...and H&M's Lanvin line that's all in fashion hype right now is supposed to go in stores the 23rd of November which is very close to Black Friday...I'm tempted to take the 40 minute drive to the mall it's at here and see if it's as good as expected to be! ;D

Look du Jour: Neutrals and Ruffles

This has got to be by far my most favorite blouse I own; the color is nothing like anything else in my closet and I'm really big on the whole sheer fabric trend but usually it's black, so this color makes it unexpected. :) And plus it's got the long cream-coloured bow attatched to make it that much more special.

It originally came with some beaded-looking jewelry but it was detatchable and somewhat cheap looking (plus got in the way of the pretty ruffles!) so I took it off.

And voila, my best blouse and it's quick history.

I thought my bag from London and it's luxurious chocolately color added the finishing touch to my neutral look. I never use it, but I'm glad I finally did!

Let's not forget my studded booties I paired with it, will I ever fall out of love with them? :)

I love this blazer a lot, and the color is pretty hard to miss. Oh and these leopard wedges? I don't think they're ever coming off my feet anytime soon!

So today has been a beautiful and relaxing Saturday for me, and I even had Starbucks (ah my favorite delicacy lol). Tomorrow I should be going golfing with some family. What's the week-end looking like for you guys?

Broken Inside

This is by far my favorite cardi, the stud detailing is so cute and it's the only white cardi I have, so it kind of goes with a lot. And it's definitely starting to turn into fall here in Tucson! That all too familiar yet vague chill in the morning and evening air is coming back. :)

I'm addicted to the look of maxi skirts and/or dresses right now. I was actually really happy that forever21 had this skirt; I was pleasantly surprised.

Well this week hasn't been all too great. Sometimes you just kind of stop in life and wonder where you went wrong...that's how I feel a lot lately. So I'm feeling all emotional...wish it it didn't have to be for this reason though. Outfit of the Day

I know, I know, sooo many picures up today!! But hey you guys should know me by now, I love a good picture, I believe they can say a lot, and so I just get a little too excited when I find tons of good ones(there are still more I was tempted to put up! lol)! These outfit photos are courtesy of Bri, of course, and it was another Starbucks morning for us yesterday. If you stick around here long enough, you'll find we have a lot of these:) They're a bit of a tradition now, these rendez-vous: wake up at 4 am, go to Starbucks and talk for maybe an hour or hour and a half, and go to school together(in this case we stopped by the lake to take some pics of each other).

Alright, so, if you read my last post, then these are the new 'mystery' shoes I took close-ups of; they're velvet(synthetic, though, apparently, according to the description. Which is a little disappointing, but don't worry, I'm planning to get real velvet-y shoes ;D ) and they are admittedly the most uncomfortable shoes I own now, but I've gotten used to them and they fit well so that helps. I've been so desperate for a pair of basic black pumps, so I am by far very,very happy with my purchase:)

And this is the new, what I call, 'Mulberry Look-Alike' bag, it is everything I could have hoped for. It's absolutely perfect, I can fit all my school things in it and I love the short and long handle option on it. It's bag HEAVEN(yeah I don't know what's been up with me and bags and shoes lately, but I think I have an addiction!!). :)

Speaking of school, I am back in it now. I went for a check-up with the doc, and everything's alright; she even took out my stitches (yuck I hate when stitches get taken out! :S ) But it wasn't tooo bad I guess, :)

And I will most likely be taking an online Italian class soon! Can't wait, I love languages and I'm already learning French since Freshmen year, and they're strikingly similar.

Also, I know it's a pretty blurry picture of it above, but my mom got my a dreamcatcher necklace! I've been wanting one, and this one is really cute plus matches my room with the purple on it:)

Today I was so pleasently surprised to wake up to see I made it to Chictopia's front page!! I'm sooo happy and amazed.

I don't know why it took me so long to pull out this beautiful jacket/blazer that I bought on sale for a really cheap price (like 7 bucks??), but I'm definitely glad I bought it! It's a great piece and I'm already thinking of more ways to style it. But for now this is what I came up with!! And holy crap I just received my package from Forver21...it's only been two days!! My god today's a good day..:) Well I'll show some pics below for a sneak peak of what I got:)

So excited to wear these, I got a total of 4 items...so stay tuned to see them in action! See me wearing the shoes tomorrow (more than likely) ;)

None of It's Against You

I attempted going to school yesterday, despite still being in recovery, and it wasn't too bad, but I've decided to play it safe and wait until I have my check-up with my surgeon this Thursday.

So this is what I wore for my 'first day back', and it was a really fun outfit to wear. I don't normally wear maxi skirts/dresses, and actually, this was the first time I've worn one. So now, I'm kind of addicted and want to get a maxi skirt or two, preferably really plain, because then it's easy to add any kind of element you want to the look. And I love my Mango jacket, kind of reminds me of Givenchy.

And I have exciting news! I'm "Fashionista of the Week" on http://www.ilovefashionnews.com/ , a Dutch fashion news site. They featured me in an outfit I wore a couple of weeks ago, so go check it out!! :)

Diary of a Good Night Surrounded by City Lights

Along with some outfit pics of the day from Saturday, I had a really great night out with Bri that night after vintage shopping with my Dad, and felt like sharing some photography from the night!

I shopped on a street called 4th Avenue, and it was so cool and different from anything in Tucson I've seen that when Bri wanted to get together I suggested 4th Avenue right away.

We really had a lot of fun. That street is a really great place to go to hang out and walk around, while most of Tucson is really boring and very spread-out. This was downtown so of course it's a lot different.

I fall in love with my Canon more and more the more I figure out what I can do with it!! I love focusing out on city lights to get really great pictures like the ones above(reminds me of how alot of movies film cities that way).

Well I only came back from vingtage shopping with 2 belts, and here's one of them. I was desperately needing a basic brown belt, but I think I still want one that's a little wider and bigger.

I am loving my biker vest from forever21, it's the first vest I've ever owned, and I don't want to stop here, a denim vest would also be really nice, don't ya think?

Finally, I present to you my beloved poodle sweater!! This is by far a new favorite item of mine...it's just so CUTE. :) How can you not love little poodles all over the perfect-fitting grey sweater, right?! Haha alright I'm done obsessing.

Ok so I couldn't resist putting on heels and taking some pictures, but I've been dying to wear this shirt for the blog. The fit is perfect (this is one of the shirt's Bri gave me): loose and kind of boxy, with star print that looks like it was drawn onto it. I love the laid-back vibe it gives.

My new ant status glasses arrived the day I got home from surgery, and I have never loved a pair of huge glasses so much before.

So I'm sure many of you watched the livestream of Burberry's S/S 2011 on StyleScrapbook's page? I did, and the clothes are beyonddd amazing. The jackets are to die for, and the shoes were perfect...

I've been so tired lately since the surgery that I'm always just falling asleep, so I find myself with a lack of words for this post, except for here are some of the photos I promised I'd post from a few weeks ago, taken by Bri (http://simplicitylook.blogspot.com/), the day before I got my licsense.

I thought the colors and paneling of this shirt from Charlotte Russe were fun, and purple is my favorite color. I mean after all, my room is painted 2 shades of purple! :)

In Recovery

I couldn't resist taking a quick outfit photoshoot before the hospital. And I thought I'd show a few (not-so-glamorous) photos pertaining to the big day of my surgery yesterday, which went very well by the way! My best friend, Bri, was there when I woke up and she got me amazing things, she's the best!! In the first hospital shot I'm holding up two really cute tops I wanted from Forever21; I want to wear them and show them to you guys so bad! They're so cute, and she got me flowers and a stuffed animal bunny :)

I'm at home trying to recover now and I can't wait to be able to get up and move around normally to do daily things! But like I said in the last post, I'll still update with outfit photos from a few weeks ago that I need to catch up on anyway.

Je Suis Prete!

Everyone, meet: my new babies!! My Zara boots are finally here..only available to me by Ebay, and it must have been meant to be because they're the only pair I've ever seen up on Ebay and my jaw dropped when I saw the listing for them, and believe me, I've been wanting these for so long!! They are in a way somewhat simple, but their build and shape and incredible quality is what makes them shine. They are mine, and they will never leave my possession! Shoes are so easy to fall in love with..any one else agree?? :)

Somehow Ernie managed to sneak in half my pictures! He's such a sweetheart, :D

So, as most of you read this post, I will probably be in surgery(for my back). I need to get up in 5 hours and be at the hospital in 7. I want to thank those that have given me good wishes, thank you guys so much! I promise to update as soon as possible, but I won't have new photos for a few days I'm sure, so I'll post some outfits that I haven't gotten up yet from a week or two ago instead. I will probably be having plenty of time at home anyways, so if I'm not sleeping, then I'll be on the computer! :p

Countdown: 2 More Days

Another Monday! Today wasn't bad at all really; I drove myself to and from school for the first time! haha:D It's so much fun, I enjoy driving for whatever reason.

I wish I didn't look so grumpy in these photos! I had no idea I looked so unhappy haha.

Well I 'm on the countdown for surgery..not very long at all til I'll be under the knife. I can't wait for my results; I'm hoping so badly that this will finally be my last days of suffering from sciatica.

My God I have an essay due tomorrow that I haven't started and I still go to work today...what am I gonna do???

Also, I have a package coming and it's been two weeks, hoping it arrives today!
